I collect maps. Have picked up a few pull- downs over the years but never really had the wall space for some. Switched out the map rails for dowels and taa daa, the start of my dining room wall.

My Dad immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in 1957. He raised us to be proud Canadians. He chose to live here, and for that I am grateful. Happy Canada day!

Meet Grimm(L) and Bomber(R) G had been a bait dog in Montreal and was unwanted by all who saw him. B was working with a trainer who brought G along to work with them together. They bonded instantly, and were inseparable for 9 years before he passed from liver failure. He was the best boy

Short version... friend left truck in my new driveway during parking ban for street cleaning that was delayed due to heavy rain. We now call this colour "rust blood"

Standing at my kitchen sink window, I see this reflection(?) but can't for the life of me figure out what's causing it... refractions play a role I'm sure, but bizarre and uniquely beautiful

#MissAtlas in enamored with the reflection from kitchen french doors. She'd go bask and lay on the floor whenever they appeared. I moved her fav chair into the corner, and she's mesmerized! Turns out, nice place to read as well. #SpoiledNotSpoiled #WellLoved #RescueDog
