Maybe I’m just a dumb-at-math artist stereotype but my understanding is that a stimulus like that would boost our economy so well that they would brag about it for decades. Except a significant chunk of that would go to medical and credit card corps. But still.

Also, cheaper =/= better use of money. The extra money spent on animation labor goes into hundreds of salaries which pay for things like housing, food, cars, other services daily. It’s more money but significantly more economic value than giving MORE money to AI oligarchs, who hoard stagnant wealth.

😱 I fully underestimated the scale

There’s definitely an aspect of “I tried telling people he felt off but no one believed me/ everyone told me he was a good guy/ told me I was imagining things” etc. But that’s a good reason to say THAT, to call out those who dismiss warning signs, not “I always knew he was bad”.
