Late night parade completed:
4:53am coyote goes back into side yard from the back yard. I'm note sure if this sequence is completely accurate. Thank you if you were able to view all these posts -- wish I could find a way to post more than one video in a post.

Saturday I participated in the protest "Signs of Fascism" in West Point. Here is a video of the protest:

Yesterday I stopped at the scenic lookout at Bear Mountain near Peakskill, NY and took these shots.

Here's a video from Halloween at our house. Like the scary wind effect we arranged? Surprisingly we actually did see several trick-or-treaters who braved the elements.

Later this afternoon I attended the No Kings rally at the Mt. Kisco town hall with my wife and 2 daughters. Attendance was about 1,800 people.

Attended the No Kings Rally at the Greenburgh Town Hall here in NY. I think there were between 200 and 300 people there, which was pretty good considering that it was only organized and advertised within the last 2 weeks.

There's a No Kings protest starting at Greenburgh Town Hall at 9am and going to 10am. Here is the poster for it.

My latest protest sign touches on the cancellation of Colbert. My wife also created an hilarious sign regarding the Epstein files debacle.

My first attempt at making an apple rhubarb pie. Hopefully it will taste as good as it looks. 🤞🏻

Happy No Kings Day. Best wishes to the US Army on it's 250th Anniversary. Let the parade begin.

This past Tuesday a camera we have in the back yard showed a raccoon — notice there’s also a very startled black cat under the bike that the raccoon goes right by.

I finished going up the north end of the Old Croton Aqueduct trail and found out why Trailways categorizes it as a mountain bike trail. There are some seriously steep and rocky parts. Fortunately it also has a lot of nice forest stretches and ends at the Croton Gorge dam which is very scenic.

This past Thursday I rode my bike on the Old Croton Aqueduct trail. It’s a beautiful trail with views of the Hudson but in spots there’s barely any trail. Part of it goes along the edge of Sleepy Hallow cemetery and is gorgeous woods (fortunately no headless horseman).

This past Thursday (5/1) I rode the Dutchess Rail Trail from where it starts in Hopewell Junction to Poughkeepsie, where it ends at the walkway over the Hudson river.

Here's some more photos from the Maybrook trail, which ends at Hopewell Junction, where the next part of the Empire Trail is the Dutchess Rail Trail. I kept seeing a number of turkey vultures.

Last week I rode my bike about halfway up the Maybrook trail from Brewster to Stormville.

So today I reached the north (or east?) end of the Putnam Trailway, which is not terribly impressive. The trail itself is beautiful but it just kind of ends near a railroad yard as you can see. I then navigated toward the beginning of the Maybrook Trailway that is further into the town of Brewster

So the cats have been acting a little freaked out by this coyote that’s been coming through our backyard this week.
