At last the long winter is over. Finally got to play against the peoples champion, THE ass coach @jfoerster.bsky.social after he has been gone for a few months after reproducing.
He dragged me into the dirt with him and we spent five battlerounds rolling like garbage.

Ended up 3-2 at MWW9, 10th place out of 32 players.
Kinda regret bringing StD as they didn’t quite give me the agency I was looking for this GhB.
But I ended up 3rd place in the ’Large Model’ category which feels amazing for my first painting competition.
Overall a great weekend with amazing people.

Ended up 3-2 at MWW9, 10th place out of 32 players.

It sure is a relief to not be playing 40 wardens anymore. Tonight I had a game where I didn’t fight for my life for 5VP.

After two games of playing until the clock runs out I get to play vs 7 stonehorns. Finally, a quick game.
Nope. A grueling slog which ends with me losing by 5. 40 wardens is too many. I’ll never recover from this.
But at least these guys are happy. 🙂

Game 2 vs SBGL was another nail biter. Worst 2-0 so I pair down into Felix’s ogors. Finally… not a match where both players will clock out.

We’re running it back. Game 1 is Liferoots. Local RTT so unpainted is permitted for this one. Forgot Eltharion at home though so for game one a varghulf believes he’s him.

Back did not enjoy.
And maybe it’s just me but is it just my Sevireth which explodes before doing anything every game?
