I definitely did 😉 wash the cotton twill before making Idia's pants. For sure. I definitely did.

For the badge on his vest....thing..I used my button press. I made 2 diff versions bc I wasnt sure what I'd like most. Top is just holo laminate, middle is holo laminate + mylar, bottom is just mylar.

I'm still on the fence. I like the holo sheen, but the colors are.more vibrant without it. *shrug*

Set at an angle bc...idk, visual interest I guess. I hand-basted the facing down & used a very short straight stitch to get those clean, precise corners. The pocket bag lining is a blue geometric design reminiscent of the jacket pattern!

The clovers were freestanding machine embrodiery, that I hand stitched down...those alone took 24 hours I think 💀 All the stars were pretty quick in comparison! They might be some of my favorite details ✨️

he's so real for this. I was planning a lot more hand embroidery for this cosplay (specifically the figaros on the belt piece) but I was worried about snagging it on stuff!! There's plenty as it is, with all the stars and clovers on the pants (those took so long 💀)
