they get more inheritance. they get all the stock market money and the house will be worth more. so the kids sell it, pay off the loan, and walk away with all the appreciation. (probably at least purchase)

seagulls? raccoons (aka trash pandas)?

JD has no base. he doesn’t have the connection with MAGA that is so inscrutable and terrifying to the Rs. they would be more likely to break with him. defy him.
November 13, 2025 at 2:42 AM
Actually the kids inheritance will be substantially larger. put the principle payments in the stock market at an average 10% return for 30-40yrs and the kids will be vastly richer.

my dad did an infinity mortgage. it’s called an interest only loan. He made a ton of money off it too. lived there 4-5 yrs.

Exactly. This was the most disturbing thing I discovered as a non-lawyer during the 1st term. the executive branch can do as it wishes regardless of law and the most that can happen is a court tells them to stop and not do it again. passing laws that restrain the prez is pointless.
November 13, 2025 at 1:23 AM
deliberate? maybe its not ideal to write clearly when talking abt your crimes. the more disordered, the easier to wiggle out of it in court.
November 13, 2025 at 12:55 AM
dems should turn the right of action provision into a poison pill. it’s corruption, self dealing, etc
November 13, 2025 at 12:14 AM
and it’s why i know jeffries is shit speaker. he should have flipped these guys dems or at least independent that caucuses with he dems. and how many more R represent districts that went harris?
November 13, 2025 at 12:13 AM
congress need to make clear OLC doesn‘t make law, and anyone following itz advice is still subject to the law. they should also create a mechanism that forces DoJ to submit the opinions to court for review.

tim kaine: i hate democracy. vote for me.
November 12, 2025 at 11:58 PM
and have $1,746,976.07 if you invested that $100 in the stock market every month for 50yrs.
November 12, 2025 at 11:46 PM
it’s normal. at the end of a 30yrs loan, you’ve paid 2-3 times the initial cost of the house depending on the interest rate. and for most houses the value after 30yrs will not be 2-3times purchase price.
November 12, 2025 at 11:45 PM
$100/mo investing in the stock market monthly for 50yrs at average return of 10% is $1,746,976.07. kinda a lot of money even inflation adjusted. plus whatever value the house is. houses are terrible investment. no one should ever try to pay them off. any principle payments are dead money.

let’s hope he sues mark brunet next and he releases all the apprentice tapes.
November 12, 2025 at 10:47 PM
it might not have been the greatest idea to sue a media mogul with multiple outlets across 3 continents.
November 12, 2025 at 10:20 PM
we may be waiting on JD to pull the trigger on the 25th. the various ”scandals” are piling up, and approval rates are falling. he’s surring up bro podverse, and probably feeling out the cabinet and senat support. monitoring T’s health. each epstein disclosure case gets him closer to making that call
November 12, 2025 at 10:15 PM
except it wasn’t fighting smart. they picked the topic based on pollsters, a topic that was a long shot at best.

November 12, 2025 at 9:11 PM
redefining earnings is nothing. they already declared that days weren’t days in the house to avoid a vote which ran a clock to force the vote. nothing is real or true to these ppl.
November 12, 2025 at 9:00 PM
but why? what’s the harm in letting the vote happen? even if it passes, there’s no discharge petition in the senate. and even then, trump will veto. and even if it’s overridden, the admin won’t release and spend the next 3 yrs running out the clock in the courts.
November 12, 2025 at 8:45 PM
how do the rate of crimes of the 1500+ pardons compare to the base crime rate? are they more felonious that the average population?
November 12, 2025 at 4:30 AM
can anyone explain exactly how a constitutional amendment would have to be written to secure these as rights?
November 12, 2025 at 3:05 AM
yes, he said he wants to put federal workers in “trauma”. i just don’t get how this advances theocracy. it probably sows a backlash that could derail the whole project.
