I started playing bc of some friends of mine on discord. Astre would be written as either a joke ("haha look how traumatized he is, it's funny") or really annoying ("this guy's mental illness is sooo inconvenient to you personally"). The nuance of him being afraid for his life but unable to stop himself from helping others. Paranoia doesn't make him bad.

Not any of my WOLs, but my Azem, Urania. "For Good" from Wicked is how I see them and Venat's relationship (not romantically like Glinda and Elphaba in the actual musical tho). Meeting Venat when she was the Azem changed Urania's life. It had good parts, but also bad. And they parted painfully.
