After decades of service and battle, Alexei proved himself to the Captain and was then made a Primaris along with becoming part of the Reavers. Alexei now mainly targets Chaos Cultists and Eldari Priestesses.

Alexei went under the genetic modification and trials to become an Astartes. It was clear that Alexei's favorite tool to use in training was his combat knife. It was here where he gained the attention of a Captain among the Ravenguard Reavers.

The first ones to respond to that call were the Ravenguard. After two weeks, they pushed the Eldar off world. In that time, Alexei was taken in by a Ravenguard Sergeant named Fyodor.
