2025 reading goals. Aiming for 50 books total but with some mini goals within that. Numbers are intentionally low and books can count for multiple mini goals so as not to set myself up for failure. 😅
15 Nonfiction at least 5 books related to the queer community (history, memoirs, essays, etc.) at least 3 books that focus on another country (could be a memoir or biography) at least 1 book that was recommended by a family member or friend 35 Fiction at least 5 books with a trans protagonist or by a trans author at least 5 books that have been translated from another language at least 2 books outside my normal genres of horror, contemporary fiction, and thrillers (for example: sci-fi, fantasy, romance, or a graphic novel would all count) at least 1 book that was recommended by a family member or friend General Goals at least 5 books by BIPOC authors at least 1 book picked blindly/based on the cover (aka no reading reviews!)

Absolutely wild that I started 2024 completely depressed and hopeless and I’m ending the year feeling happy and cautiously optimistic because I’m finally taking steps towards getting gender affirming care that I’ve wanted and I’m just. 🥹😭😌🏳️‍⚧️

Working on creating some 2025 reading goals.

I feel like 2023 was the year I fell back in love with reading and 2024 was the year I made it a regular habit and read a lot more.

I want 2025 to be the year where I read intentionally and outside my comfort zone occasionally.
