I think it was cut because it's using a special palette-swapping feature which they didn't implement in the GBA version. Basically as you go up the clouds it changes from the jungle to the music palette.

At least it's not the GBA version which has none of these parts 🙃

But yeah, visually I love the transition level, but the actual level design is kinda lacking.

It used to be that the gog version wasn't using the latest version, but they updated it in 2018. So now all digital versions use the latest version. The wiki page should probably be updated tbh. I double checked and it is the disc version, so this shouldn't be used on the digital versions.

Oh actually, the exe on PCGamingWiki is probably for the disc release. So that's why it's different from the Steam version.

Hm, I checked the 1.02 exe that's on PCGamingWiki and it's completely different from the Steam exe, yet the Steam version is indeed the latest version. I wonder if that caused the issue? And yeah like you said that shouldn't have removed the InstallLocation though.

Oh huh, the InstallLocation is empty... That's what RCP uses to find the game. Although I'm guessing this is unrelated to the text formatting not working correctly, which I'm not really sure why it's happening. All I could really think of is trying to reinstall the game?

The folder name is correct - for some reason they named it that. But RCP should have found it 🤔 If you check the registry (Regedit), do you have the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steam App 207490" along with the install location there?

For Windows 11 you mean? I would recommend getting Winaero Tweaker and going through all the options there. That covers most of the useful modifications!
