Long suffering Southampton FC, Hampshire and Pakistan cricket fan. Art lover and gracefully aging (ex) comic fanboy from the UK.
Fantastic mini by Robinson with lovely art by Paul Smith. Chaykin was supposed to do a follow up called The Silver Age which never happened. Probably just as well, much as I love Chaykin's work his cynical 90s take on the characters of that era probably wouldn't have been all that great.

Unfortunately I know people who don't like like him but are so fed up with the three main parties, they will vote Reform. This may change some of their minds, but many will still vote for his party, even if they are not voting for Farage.

Yes, it's brilliant in so many ways.

Love Diana Rigg in the original series and also a big fan of Joanna Lumley in The New Avengers. She made that haircut look so cool.

Incredibly sad news Pat. He passes away just 2 years after his wife died of cancer in 2023. Excellent write up on him by Alexis Petridis.

His love of ‘good northern soul and funk’ was always in evidence and had a lasting impact on alternative music

Mac Raboy was a superb comic artist, and (like another great draughtsman of that era, Lou Fine) unfortunately all but forgotten today.

For example I would love to support and get Rick's new book you worked on, but the postage cost to the UK makes it impractical.
October 30, 2025 at 6:31 PM
Thanks. Ah I see. Those are great. Unfortunately shipping plus custom charges to the UK makes the cost prohibitive. Same for kickstarter projects items from the US to UK. *sigh*

All her resume of hobbies needs to finish it off is ..."and she wants to bring peace to the world". Like every beauty contestant used to say back in the day when being interviewed. They were obviously slacking in that department but in her case I'll give her a pass, I'm generous like that.

Your opinion is as valid as any! 😊 Who's the 1st?

It was the same when printers switched to plastic plates from metal ones for a while to cut costs. After a while in the print run, parts of the plate would start to shrink which resulted in lines that should have been straight being printed as squiggly lines. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
