So did Ohio State forget they had a game this week? So gassed up to beat Michigan that they went out there this week like some suckers. Salute to Indiana, but this is funny. The dormant 1990s/early 2000s Michigan Football fan in me is awake for the next couple of days over this. Just hilarious.

I kicked around a few thoughts on how I would improve Survivor Series

How would I Fix It?   Survivor Series
Welp, judging by the reviews this year’s Survivor Series was not one for the history books. Was it bad? I don’t think so. Go back to the lean years of the mid 90s or pre-Brand Split 201…

WELL NOW, would you look at that? A massive, 24-YEAR-LONG study of MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION people in Denmark found NO LINK between aluminum in childhood vaccines and autism, asthma, OR chronic disorders.

Aluminum is an ADJUVANT.

It ENHANCES your immune response to a vaccine.

That’s it.

The problem is not the pardon power. The problem is us. We weren't supposed to elect a crook as POTUS. If we did, the people we elected in Congress are supposed to do something about it. We're idiots, so we've elected crooks & cowards all the way up the line.

The problem is us. We need to fix us.
Giving the president the pardon power was a mistake. The most corrupt president in American history is conducting a jailbreak for his fellow criminals.

NEWS: The Institute of Museum & Library Services has restored ALL previously canceled federal grants to libraries, following a ruling by a federal judge in Rhode Island last month.

This is a massive win for libraries & communities in every state & territory!

So something we all need to do in 2026 is start to treat media headlines as disinformation. Myself include. The media is using people’s legit feelings of disappointment in Schumer and Jeffries to mislead on what is being said.

This headline is extremely misleading

New ICE data available today prove that DHS lied in response to my report last week, showing that over 70% of people booked into ICE custody had no criminal convictions, and just 5% had violent criminal convictions. DHS will lie about anything... www.cato.org/blog/new-dat...

All joking aside, the fundamental flaw with some people's view of politics is that no bad result is ever the fault of the bad actor who did it. It's always the fault of every other actor who "failed to stop them". The obvious drawbacks to this way of thinking are somehow obscured to its adherents.

Is this piece from 1997? Or 1987? Or 1977? For the love of God please hire back all those people you fired earlier this year.
After a year full of hip-hop rivalries — Kendrick vs. Drake, Cardi vs. Nicki, and more — insiders wonder whether rap beef is the key to marketing music, or a phenomenon that risks ruining the culture.

I bet that 57% of the managers is because they're being browbeat by the execs to use it.
The numbers in here are hilarious.

Do you use AI on the job?
Execs: 87%
Managers: 57%
Workers: 27%

Planned investment by 2030: $5T
"Necessary" annual revenue to justify that spend: $650B
Current annual revenue: $50B
Three years into the generative-AI wave, demand for the technology seems surprisingly flimsy

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.
