I am. I'd read of danger of getting hung on something and strangle cat.

It's not too tight. It wouldn't taken much to get it over her noggin. But she tugged back and I want her to keep allowing me near her. So showing her more respect.

I offered her some food from afar with the call of "kitty kitty kitty." She looked older weathered confused. She didn't come to me. She went on about her route.

... but not before tugging on that flea collar hoping to slip it off her neck.

She pulled back and I let her be. I wonder if that collar is like a part of her now? Or something that is "hers."

Anyways, I caught her sitting on my fence yesterday after cutting through the yard...

I saw her the other morning leaving for work. It was early, dark and my headlights caught her just sitting on the road. I passed her but stopped and went to check on her.

She let me pet her and I noticed a mouse at her feet. Realizing this was breakfast I decided to go on and leave her be ...

I love that story.

I saw Flossie, the neighborhood cat, cutting through my yard yesterday. Tried to give her some leftover turkey but she went on her normal route instead 🤷‍♀️
