And so the holiday season begins. I put up the decorations in November each year because they make me happy. It's especially nice having the warm glow of the tree when it gets dark at 4pm outside.

I do love the views on the way home from work in the fall. The leaf colors are amazing! #PNW #FallColors

Fall is my favorite time of year here in the PNW. The trees change colors, the drizzle returns, and the mists move back in amongst the valley's trees. ❤️ it here so much.

This was Leo. Crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago, but was cute as could be for all of his 12 years.

Always trust your gut if you feel something is wrong. A month ago I thought I was just sick after returning from vacation, turned out to be a massive blood clot that they had to go through my jugular vein to remove. On blood thinners from now on, but very glad I trusted my instincts and got help.

Post travel sickness is no joke. Woke up completely drenched in sweat from what I can only imagine was a fever breaking.

Was a beautiful day in downtown Seattle today. Walked through the Seattle Center, the newly redesigned waterfront, and the expanded Seattle Aquarium.

Got a great sun glare/halo in the pic of the valley I took while walking out on the trail today.

Took a long trail walk yesterday and everything in the valley is in bloom. Even saw some fields of roses and some cows along the way.

Spring is finally here. We had about two days of warm weather this week and all of the trees and bushes decided it was time to release the babies!

Supporting yourself and being selfish are two different things. Sometimes, it's hard for others to understand this, especially when you establish boundaries as part of supporting yourself.

I feel like this more and more these days. As an Atheist, I don't believe in any deity, but this mythological figure of Christ sounds like a good person. Unlike so many of those that proclaim to "follow his teachings"
