In Australia, we had a Government owned health insurance fund. It was making $500m profit each year, while keeping other private fund premiums lower. The Conservatives sold it for $2b. We lost a profit making entity, and all the Private funds jacked their prices up. Tories don't care about us.

Is it any wonder that, when an Australian TV journalist had the audacity to question Trump about his recent and rapid wealth increase, he was basically told that the Prime Minister would be told about this and that it threatened the US/Aus trade relationship?

Actually, in most democracies, this situation would only happen to a minority government when they were unable to get enough bipartisan support to pass spending measures. We call it "Supply". For a majority government, this is just ridiculous and stupid.
