One such is CNN Haven't opened that app today, and just a few minutes ago, they went fishing, taking data

Dockduckgo is a Google alternative. They have their own browser, too. A feature is App tracker. 2 alarming revelations. The screen cap shows what bsky collects. Similar to other apps. The other is similar data captures by other apps that I haven't opened. That's alarming.

He speaks of voter ID. He then spells out identification as if no one has any idea what ID means. My guess is he did that primarily for his own benefit.

Even on a casual Friday this is IMHO wholly inappropriate attire for a US Attorney. There are standards. I do think it is really good at a purely social gathering.

When I lived in Italy, there we're gelato shops everywhere. Only 2 were really good. One in Rome and the other in Sorento. The rest, meh. There's a gelato shop near my home here and it's as good as those 2. Maybe even better. Today I noticed this. Someone has a delicious sense of humor.

The best thing about the Sean Dunn trial, other than he did what he did, is that the verdict cannot be appealed.

Schumer protested that he is not irrelevant. He might be the only one who thinks that.

One might think a guy with his background would be smarter than than the sclerotic zombie we now endure.

162 years ago, I remember when Curtis Sliwa founded the Guardian Angels. They were good at the time. Then he began believing his own publicity. Big no no. At that point I discounted him. So this is actually surprising. Good on him. Cuomo and Adams, not so much.

For once, he may actually be telling the truth. There's a difference between "knowing" someone and "knowing who someone is". He may not have met the man or spoken with him, but he most assuredly knows who the man is. Just depends on how one defines "know". 47 is a walking, talking turd with ears.

From @pbump.com. What he says it true and accurate, independent of context. I suspect this is the broad logic behind James Comey's and Letitia James's challenges to the legitimacy of their indictments.

NYT answered their question before asking it. Genius. No, I didn't read the article. Not necessary.

This feels good and remember, as good as this feels, votes not crowds win elections. We all must always vote in every election. That's how we, our candidate, our goals, and our country wins.

Best news I've seen all day and it's not new. Typically I don't care enough to look it up. Today is an exception. Slow Horses has been renewed for seasons 6 & 7. Mick Herron's books are all good. The TV show is good. So's my mood. I'm easy.

22nd Amendment relevant text. Here's the likely plan Steve Bannon teases. Not new or original. In 2028 for POTUS the GOP puts a place-holder on the ticket - JD or anyone off the street. They put 47 on as VP. Once the place-holder takes the oath of office, he resigns. Then number 47 becomes

OK, up front. I elected not to read the piece bc a co-author is Ron DeSantis.

His basic premise is wrong. Term limits will only replace one ideologue with another. That cures nothing. The real solution is competitive districts up and down the ballot. Then elections become term limits.

Reminds me of October 21, 1967 at the Pentagon. It was peaceful. It was pivotal. It motivated others to protest the war in Vietnam.

In my early and mid teens, he used to visit us every few weeks for Sunday dinner. Always a joy. He was a delightful man, interested and curious with a twinkle in his eye that I've seen in only one other person. Look him up. He was a giant. I had no idea. Born this day, 1874

Dolly Parton is a national treasure. She's one of the very, very few who should never age, never ail, and never die.

Full disclosure: Typically, I'm not a prayer person. For Dolly I make an exception.
