I'm such a C# shill but,
any time I hear someone say "the garbage collector slows things down too much" I feel like they're not aware of just how many tools you have to avoid heap allocations

a bit disappointed by the grayscale passthrough, resolution, and soft strap without on-ears. none of those are deal breakers though.
the expansion port with camera mipi and pci-e is very interesting, as is the headstrap modularity.

I wish the analog stick had not ultimately won in the VR space. Analog sticks are fine on two-handed controllers but on one-handed controllers there's nothing to brace against and the thing slides around in your hand all funny.
