I can't stop thinking about the Umamusume hall interaction where the student council is responding to a broken floor. It's implied Rudolf and Air Groove have authority over school maintenance budgets and making RFPs to construction contractors while Brian is entrusted with making a sign with crayons

I read Nobuteru Yuki's manga. (there isn't much of it) It really is like a fusion of Lodoss War, Escaflowne, and The Weathering Continent with Fist of the North Star

I'm skeptical about whether the Gnosia anime will actually adopt the game's fragmentary/misleading, learn-as-you-go via context storytelling. I suspect it'll be more linear and caught up in rules exposition. That said, I feel compelled to watch b/c damn, game had one of my favorite SF art aesthetics

The tone it's settled on reminds me of the original Ghost in the Shell manga. 1/2 dense sci-fi political drama, 3/4 cyberpunk militarism, 3/4 brief tonal shifts into gags (Manga Dreamer is very funny)
