For my MG 🐣 Fantasy, I'd cast: Adam Driver and Anya Taylor-Joy as my two antagonists.
Melika Foroutan is a bad/good kind of character.
I'd like my 12-year-old MC & her sister to be unknowns.

Same. I'm querying 2 MG novels. Working on a third. Guess I like being daring. Not sure what's going on. Hope things switch up. All 4 were published in the UK. On shelves in the US/doing well. Not The Doll Twin yet. That's still new.

Found my favorite childhood book. It costs a fortune! I only remember parts of it. I know it semi inspired my MG fantasy. 🌟✨

Shirley Jackson is one of my favorites! I love the dark humor in this novel. Although the MC (Merricat) has blond hair on the covers, I've always pictured her as a brunette.
I'm not familiar with the third cover.

Day 6 (Looks like I'm late)

My favorite is the British one, but it's impossible to find the full film. Amazon has a terrible 1 part copy. I owned the only US VHS and let a neighbor borrow it. They gave me SpongeBob in the box and moved. 😩 However, I also love the American version.
