So this is still one of my proudest possessions.

I'm not a hero. Just an ordinary bloke with a bit of talent on boats.

I always enjoyed the anonymity of just being No 2.

As those who follow these things know. other than the steel tariffs which are covered separately, my own view is that Trump's tariffs have no basis in law at all, and that this is so obvious that it is a test of whether SCOTUS is a court in meaningful sense.

Missed the last cup. First one I've not seen since my first in 1970.

A matter of principle.

Same will apply to next years proceedings in the Land of the Orange Baboon.

Yeah. Peace off.

I can think of many responses, but "fuck off" comrs to mind.

We don't like monopolistic bullies.

You expect others to obey your laws. So obey ours.

Regrettably this is just a pinprick. They should add a zero to the fines.

Let's go large.
So (see @klonick.bsky.social last night) today may be the day that the EU Commission fines X for breach of the Digital Services Act (DSA). Busy day for me, and I expect many questions if it happens, so here's an explanation thread in advance.

First of all, a reminder of the provisional decision

Almost comical seeing the orange baboon racing around trying to secure "peace" deals the way he did deals with real estate.

All because he wants a prize before he becomes irrelevant.

I sincerely hope the prizegiving committee give him what he deserves. 🖕
