@rianjohnson.bsky.social would never mess up a baseball reference. When it comes out on Netflix I think there is some dialogue about 'recording' maybe if there wasn't a Friday day game they'd have done a recording from previous day? Cubs are popular but thought weird it wasn't NY team at first

I was curious about this, so I looked it up: this was indeed from the correct Cubs/Dbacks game on Good Friday 2025. The movie was filmed in 2024. Why was this game chosen? Because it was the only day game that day that fit the timeline of the movie www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CHN/CH...
