Okay it was a little concerning for a few days there, but after I trimmed off some of the dead traps Tiamat seems to have "stabilized" into dormancy. I think having the humidifier nearby is helping too, especially with how dry the apartment is now that the heat is running almost 24/7.

Working every weekday in a building that the entire university community can mostly access but there's no bathroom in my workspace does make me understand why George Costanza was so obsessed with getting a private or semi-private bathroom at work.

As the Medici Podcast winds down, I feel wistful. Not because the project is ending (I'm already excited for what's next, to be honest), but because it reminds me that my project is to write the first English-language biography of the last Medici Grand Duke of Tuscany, Gian Gastone de' Medici.
