Репортер, журналіст, фотограф, замахався.
Іноді відряджають на війну і виходить робити важливі репортажі, а не ото от всьо. Упоровся по справах Майдану і там все погано, але є виключення.
Thank you for reading and watching. Show this to your friends, especially if they still believe in some conventions or agreements that Russians allegedly observe.

And there is also a video, it is much shorter, but it contains the most important parts. The video has English subtitles: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkF2... 👇

So go read this interview. It is very important. And it has an English-language version. Link to the interview: imi.org.ua/en/monitorin... 👇
Dmytro Khyliuk speaks of torture he experienced in Russian prison
Starvation, freezing, and violence: how journalist Dmytro Khyliuk survived imprisonment in Russia.

Overall, there is a lot that is very important: about letters that never arrived, about weighing and how the Russians tried to cheat the system so that on paper people weighed more, about the Red Cross, about medical aid in prison 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Dmytro volunteered to talk to Russian TV. To which the Russian soldiers told him: “You can’t.” Because he was a civilian, not a soldier. By the way, Dmytro also spoke about how Russians hid beaten civilians in prison 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Imagine what is happening to others. Oh, and another detail: when Dmytro was still in captivity in Hostomel, Russian television was there. And they were looking for a volunteer to record an interview 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
And then imagine this being forced upon exhausted people, who are beaten and who have lost up to half their weight. At the same time, Dmytro modestly says that he was beaten less and not so severely. Because they knew he was a journalist 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
People in captivity were beaten, attacked with dogs, abused in general. Exhausted prisoners were forced to do physical exercises: squats or push-ups. Hundreds of times. Try now to do 3 sets of 50 push-ups 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
For example, soup with a spoonful of potato floating in it. Or 9 spoons of porridge. And a piece of bread. Such a ration can hardly be called nutritious and supportive of health, right? And all this was happening and is happening right now 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
In 2023, Dmytro was transferred to a prison in Pakino. There Dmytro for the first time learned that he weighed 54 kg. Before captivity, his normal weight was 75 kg. Feel the difference, so to speak. He also spoke a lot about the food ration 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
The phrase about Buchenwald was not accidental. Dmytro said they were starved and frozen. In Novozybkov he spent almost a year. And all that time he was cold and underfed. The Russians cared so little that they didn’t even weigh the prisoners 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Think about it. Russians, who claim they defeated Nazism. Who claim they are fighting Nazism in Ukraine. These Russians are proud that their prison is a concentration camp. This is beyond insane 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
They were beaten the same way, tortured the same way, equally denied medical help. Already when Dmytro ended up in prison in the town of Novozybkov (Bryansk region), the prison guards greeted Ukrainians with the phrase: “Welcome to Buchenwald!” 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
By the way, Dmytro says that with him the Russians transported several dozen civilians. And there were very many such captives. Important: the Russians treated military and civilians the same. Equally badly 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Although even that does not matter. The Russians literally abducted Ukrainian citizens and tortured them. And for this there is and can be no justification. Regardless of whether people were military or civilians 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
An important detail: in Narovlya, Dmytro was issued a so-called prisoner of war card. Although he was a civilian, at the time of his detention he was not a soldier, not a member of the Territorial Defense or any other military formation 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
As a result, Dmytro’s father was released home. Dmytro, however, was taken by Russian soldiers through Narovlya (a town in Belarus) to Russia, where the journalist spent 3.5 years in different prisons 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Dmytro and his father were held in different rooms. His father, who was 74 years old, was convinced that he would be executed. And they forced him to write farewell notes to the family. After which they took him for a fake execution 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Dmytro was interrogated almost immediately, already in the first improvised prison, which was a few hundred meters from his home. He said right away that he was a journalist. Of course, it didn’t help 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
And then came an hour-long story about the Russians and hell. It all began when Dmytro and his father were abducted from the yard of their own house, when they tried to take some food to cook a meal 👇
September 9, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Overall, I hardly asked Dmytro any questions. I just asked him to tell what happened to him and how exactly. Because all the information we had was rather fragmentary and based on testimonies of other people 👇
