Trained as a biotechnologist, she began her structural biology research at the CNIO in Madrid, studying mitochondrial replisome machinery. She has a Master’s in Biochemistry from Complutense University in 2023. Currently, her PhD research at LUMC focuses on DNA mismatch repair in E. coli
