Some “drug dealers” get torpedoed without a trial. Some actual drug dealers get tried, convicted, and pardoned. There is no such thing as justice in America while Donald Trump is president.

Additionally, the simile should inform our interpretation of the passage. Is this describing a narcissistic God’s secret plan to rain destruction down upon his unsuspecting enemies? It can’t be. He’s a God who expects ppl to nearly die of grief when their child dies. Narcissists don’t do this.
