Which makes it worse that there aren't any actual places online for kids to safely use, and pretty all the big websites are just minefields for them thanks to awful moderation. And yeah, people have argued that kids shouldn't be on the internet until they're 18, but that just isn't feasible in today's world, or in the world 20 years ago. You sadly need the internet to do basic shit in life and you'll end up completely inept at numerous skills in today's society without it.

I feel the same thing with Stranger Things, and also think it suffers from the same issues Heroes had.

Even the first season of Heroes was fine instead of great to me. Interesting concepts and twists on capeshit cliches, but averaged out to a 7.5/10. Honestly, I felt cheated since it was "the show everyone had to watch or else you'll be out of the loop" in 2007.
