I just feel that the whole clothing industry approach of “tell me the size I’d like to be rather than letting me choose the size I honestly am” is rather insulting to the intelligence of all involved… 😩

I can’t think of any other situation where it’s acceptable to quote a standardised unit of measure and then supply something different - and everyone’s okay with this!

(Data-storage GB vs. GiB is close, but at least it’s fundamentally a different unit…)

In this case, I only found out that they’re clearly using jeans sizes rather than actual sizes (without disclosing this) now that the item’s been delivered, which means that I’ve got all of the hassle of trying to arrange a return.

I’ve been so, so inspired by your resilience and practically unwavering positive outlook during this awful period…
