I really want to continue posting on my socials but at the same time, seeing new accounts from younger artists getting a lot of traction almost instantly is really depressing for me. Not that it's a bad thing in itself. Good for them for having this chance. I'm just mad at this stupid algorithm.

You're probably right, yeah. It's such an hostile way of making the algorithm work, especially for most artists who simply can't produce as much content as a gimmick account or someone tweeting regularly can.

I'm gonna paraphrase what I just said on Twitter but atp I really don't know if I'll ever be able to gain any traction from my socials and, to be honest, it's starting to weigh on me more than I'd like to make myself believe. Having to rely entirely on Discord for my commissions isn't optimal at all
