paldea is probably the worst of the "open world" pokemon titles. the wild areas, legends arceus, and the bit of ZA I've played have felt not terrible, but I miss the routes a lot. I'd be so down for another blend of the two like sw/sh with the wild areas between cities and still keeping some routes

i say this post less with pity for myself and more outright baffled at how my internal clock is this accurate

the plot gets a lil thick with it in some places, some characters relearn the exact same lessons over and over again. plus the "what's wrong?" "it's nothing" gets old so fast 😭 but i love the characters and world and I really should play instead of watch it myself someday

maybe they can give it a normal evolution where its jaw stays in tact but becomes a focal point like the mega 🤞 i love the concept of glalie but its design and battle capabilities are lacking, but a strong jaw ice type sounds so awesome!

okay i guess the pokedex says it dislocated its jaw when mega evolving but still!!

ooh I'll keep it in mind!! I'll probably book a doctor's appointment in january to mention my sleep issues, good to know there's other options of meds i could try if the sleep becomes a problem

i'd rather deal with this mild insomnia than the anxiety i had this time last year so I'm not that worried about finding new meds but man i miss getting my 8 consecutive hours of sleep a night
