I drove along the first 12 or so miles of the river, mostly scouting locations. So many beautiful sections with some more wadable water down where it flows into the main river.

Wait... I bet I wasn't at that one. That was in 93. I think I'm getting things mixed up. I know I was at the 98 shows in Eugene and Portland. I think I saw Reverend Horton Heat separately at La Luna in 97.

I was at that too! I thought it was La Luna. I saw a lot of shows there.

I like it because I have some low as hell standards. But watching it right after Andor does Rogue One zero favors whatsoever.

I did similar work at CENTCOM and it was the same damned thing. Most of the military just didn't give a shit and treated people like machines with predictable, standard responses to stimuli. Other agencies in government were much more interested in our work.

I was part of the US based analytical support team. My team was pretty good, but I felt like we had worse integration with our own field teams than we did with other units.

Many of my patients have an understanding of insurance that starts and stops at "I have it and that means I don't have to pay you." Plans are wildly different in ways that are hard to understand.

Big dental conventions will have like Brett Michaels or Tom Brady do a keynote and I immediately know I don't want to go. I don't want to pay to hear some doofus and I am not so dumb as to spend money to go somewhere to have "fun" with dentists.

So then everyone ends up with these corporate outfits that make their money by avoiding the patients. I've heard nothing but horror stories about local OHP clinics. The dentists are fine, but patients never get to see them.

To make matters worse, in private practice, I received no loan assistance or anything else to incentivize participation. There's no good reason, especially with today's loan balances, to be part of this. Pay sucks ans someone is always up your ass.
