I guess Libs realized they have to act like this or the next time without Trump effect they will be crushed at the polls. Sad times.
10 years ago Mark Carney warned about the "existential threat" posed by climate catastrophe and the need to move from fossil fuel burning.
Now he is using Stephen Harper's lines about becoming an "energy super power."
This is a powerful analysis on the MOU.

The Pipeline MOU is a Tragic Failure of Vision
At best, Mark Carney capitulated to Danielle Smith's backward view of the future. At worst, the Prime Minister shares that view

Apologizing, in any form, to a bully doesn't work. It seems even this is up for debate these days...smh.
If a good deal, whatever that means, happens between Trump/USA and Canada it won't be because of "apologizing", being nice, etc.

Congrats Jays, now get them Dodgers.

Watching Leafs on TV (Habs another way ;) )

Absurdity of 3 on 3 OT was on display. It's bad enough players regularly leave the offensive zone but the Leafs player abandoned a 3 on 1 & left for the bench in the middle of it, lol silly NHL. It didn't matter for the Leafs at all but still absurd.

If the Libs do an austerity budget, or even a 'light' version of it, the effects would be much worse than any so called high deficit.
Also very likely a self sabotage that is customary for the Libs.

Here’s what the parliamentary budget officer is warning of ahead of the budget
Just weeks before the federal government is set to table the budget, the country’s fiscal outlook has Canada “at the precipice,” according to interim parliamentary budget officer Jason Jacques.

I just want to see Libs show some backbone for once as I believe we are already past the point of no return so I doubt this one will matter much in environmental terms. Especially as
environmental measures are falling all around the world, especially south of the border. www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

There's officially been more accountability for corporate extramarital affairs at Coldplay concerts than there's been for the sitting president covering up a massive sex trafficking operation that targeted children.
