Given how much stock they put into looks it makes sense. There's so much self-loathing in TERFs.

I... didn't know they were known for their insects. I feel like this needs expanding on.

But I love the way the writers included this history of the Guild. It makes so much sense.

I just love how good he was at tricking them. If he wanted to study them he 100% would have been able to.

I'd argue no one should go into medical debt no matter where they live. I don't think of it as a competition.

I know I'm lucky to live in a country where medical bankruptcy is only 10% of our bankruptcies, but I'd still rather it be 0.

But people shouldn't have to choose between food and the drs.

I'm not saying people in the US have it good, I'm just saying this idea people have that our healthcare is free is wrong.

And in Australia eye tests are covered, but not glasses, and teeth aren't either.

The sad thing is, our healthcare used to be better. We're moving toward a more US system.

We have a better system than the US, that is undeniable, but the poor really do suffer from a lot of preventable medical issues that just aren't covered here.

Even a doctors office isn't fully covered in a lot of places, and becoming more common.

We are fortunate, so no, but close to $10,000 isn't anything to sneeze at and can bankrupt people.

The option in Australia, for certain illnesses, is very much 'don't get help or take out debt'.

Which is my point. It's odd that you think it's inconceivable that some people struggle with debt.

As an Aussie I can assure you there is a LOT not covered by our healthcare. I had to pay outright to get my hand MRI because 'small bones aren't covered'. We paid thousands for my partners chronic headaches in a single year.

Then there's the cost of teeth.

My local library has full-on recording kits that include a tablet, and quiet rooms you can use.

Perfect for anyone that needs to record a presentation for work or school, or make a podcast.
