Here’s a better pic with the various iterations of the Cybermen. The similarity with the Demonica is more clear as they go on. I just really prefer the first ones with the cloth mask.

The Demonica outfit from MegaTen games is my brand of looks a bit daft but also quite cool retro futuristic character design.

Obvious parallels to the Cybermen from Doctor Who too!

This was a banger worth importing as it never released in the UK.

16 years ago, #ShinMegamiTensei: Strange Journey was first launched in Japan on the DS! And what a strange journey it was. With SMT's signature demon negotiation and fusion systems, its gameplay was incredibly addictive. Read our review below!

Aye, daft prices since covid. I had to import this one from France.

As Harry, I appreciate that my daughter was considerate enough to leave me clear written instructions to her whereabouts and provided a length of steel pipe to swat away skinless pterodactyls.

Good lass!

Also picked up this beautifully illustrated Puffin Picture Book No. 97, A Book of Armour.

There was a big stack of these picture books on a wide range of topics; however, the place was charging a tenner a piece for them!

Looking through some of my old character design work I did in college.

They were meant to be character classes in a fictional RPG.

I did a proper whoop of laughter encountering the dreaded Men from Carlisle in Judero who attack you and bark the word Carlisle in an Carlisle accent.

Perfect, absolutely nothing more representative of Britain than a Battenburg and a nice cup of tea! Sums us up very nicely, of mixed German and Indian Subcontinent heritage!

Someone's found the perfect response:
Pelican crossing lights daubed with the St George cross have been turned, by today's biggest hero, into what looks like slices of Battenberg cake.

The 1968 radio production of Day Of The Triffids is superb, and does more of the grim stuff that was in the novel and left out of the 1981 (also good) TV version. If you start listening to this, you will be gripped. www.youtube.com/watch?v=itUv...
