So I’ll have to disagree; taking the property into public ownership is a step in the right direction, but I ask the open question now that we’re the stewards, what are we going to do? Neglect it like the Scouts?

Hi, this problem set in long ago, mostly due to the Scouts neglect of the property, but not allowing outside hikers, birders, hunters etc. A neglected property void of respectful users is the perfect recipe for illicit use to fester. I see it all over RI.
