i AM taking care of plants. It def was by trial and error 😅 so like i said im concerned. They're also not rly...as fulfilling as a pet but maybe i should try getting more plants

thank you, I appreciate it. My original plan was to wait till I get steady with a partner anyway but it began weighting on me that it might not happen anytime soon and living alone is affecting me mentally. Hopefully I'll get to get better.

that's a nice sentiment, but there's so many other things to consider, like it getting sick and the vet costs, will it be ok with staying at home when i work? A lot could happen. I'm also very forgetful.

tbh I'm a little traumatised after getting a puppy as a kid, I've neglected to properly train it which caused unnecessary stress to me, the dog, and my dad who had to pay for a new couch. He got adopted by someone else but my father never let me live it down.

yes, that's exactly it! Taking care of someone really made me much more productive at home and happier? but it was temporary. What cute kitty! I really wanted a black one, I would take any ofc but I love how they're sort of a shadow with eyes and ive heard theyre not as wanted.
