This is awesome for a Friday afternoon!
I’ve now done about 150 miles on her and she is amazing. I always like being out on my bike, but with this one I love riding her. It’s more involved. She flatters me and makes me feel like I’m a better rider than I am. Incredible bike.

First ride with my @galibiervelo.bsky.social Gino Pro wind jersey. It was 14°C with light rain and I was wearing my l/s base-layer and the Gino. It was amazing! The windproof bits kept my core toasty and the lighter material on the arms was just enough with my base layer, even in the rain. Cont…

Pavement Parking: does anyone else have these white lines actually on the pavement (!) to indicate that cars should park there? This is in Oxfordshire, I'm interested in what other LAs have them. Extra points if you can give me a location on google maps so I can see it. :)

I’ve checked and this is my longest ride since July and I only had the two days of 80km each in July for my camping trip. In August I did the grand total of 7km
I’m really out of shape, but doing London to Paris next year and a 320km ride to my sister’s so back on it. 80km next weekend and…

Really enjoyed that this morning. Longest ride in a very long time and legs were screaming by the time I got back, which is exactly what I wanted.
Lots of runners and cyclists out and I noticed that whilst the cyclists were all smiling, the runners didn’t look like they were enjoying themselves.

Doctor tells him off for not wearing a helmet and says “if you have another bike crash when not wearing a helmet, I’ll report to social services”

So my desire to start working on my bikes myself has coincided with wanting to replace my chainrings on my brand new bike!
