Possibly, this one was a bit extreme, parts chromed that ended up being an entirely different colour. But I wanted to do a GT40 and this was the most affordable option in 1/12.

About 85% of it was chromed which had to be stripped off, and most of the parts had to be superglued as Extra Thin and the like would not work on the plastic.

I, with Tigger, did a 1/12 GT40 a while back, that really was a challenge. Done as a tribute to Ken Miles and Denny Hulme, true winners of the 66 Le Mans.
