I think it is as simple as Dan says. He's gone through this stuff *so often* because of his platform and his willingness to be a true public scholar. He's internalized everything.

Heiser was the same way. He'd internalized everything because he ran headlong through Coast to Coast AM and survived.
I'm not a savant by any stretch of the imagination & a lot of folks in the academy could easily put me to shame. After years of doing this every single day, though, I've repeated so many passages & scholars & theories enough times to have instant recall of a lot of the stuff that comes up the most.
@maklelan.bsky.social Genuine question that I get is personal but I'd be grateful if you could answer it in any way you can.

I'm just trying to get a frame of reference on how you've mastered so much with incredible acuity.

Do you see yourself as average in ability? Or are you exceptional?

Just in case you're wondering , this is considerably worse than what Trump did you get impeached the first time.
At some point in the future, Witkoff should be prosecuted for this.

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Belated Thanksgiving. This 15 pounder happened earlier today.

I am now basking in the afterglow. Turkey. Mashed potatoes. Stuffing. Gravy. Green bean casserole. Pumpkin pie 🥧. Apple meringue pie.

Yes I will have leftovers for supper later.

So I actually just listened to this verbal word salad that the twice-impeached one offered. How are we not in 25th amendment territory? How are we not impeaching this guy (again)?

His grasp of reality is gone. He lives in his own world and it is not ours.

Listen and tell me he's actually coherent.

Because of this post my spouse made apple meringue pie for our (belated) Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. Thanks for mentioning it. We're looking forward to tasting it!
I don’t love apple pie bc of the top crust, but I found a recipe this year that has a meringue topping instead and I’m very excited to finally have a good apple pie 😅

A *huge* vaccine victory. I've been writing on this for years; Australia has seen remarkable progress in cervical cancer prevention with the HPV vaccine. I love seeing science triumph like this.
Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!

Since the 18yo now has a job and is working today (learning the wonders of being least senior, but also the wonders of holiday pay) we've postponed the big meal until Friday.

Still trying to figure out food for today. Started w/cinnamon rolls, a holiday breakfast staple. Dinner yet to be decided.
