The famous book The Silk Roads: A New History of the World by Peter Frankopan is admittedly excellent, but I was disappointed that more than half the book is actually recent history, and otherwise mostly focused on Europe up to Iran, and China.

In the movie Den sidste viking (The Last Viking) (2025) a bank robber (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) entrusts his brother (Mads Mikkelsen) to hide his loot, but when he comes out of jail his brother has switched personalities.

I solved Turnabout Corner, the 2nd case of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. It was a lot harder than the easy 1st case Turnabout Trump, but not yet as fiendishly difficult as I expect the game will become.

These are definitely not rookie numbers.

Predator: Badlands (2025) is yet another successful Predator movie by director Dan Trachtenberg (Prey (2022), Killer of Killers (2025)).
I enjoyed how old Predator tropes were reversed and Elle Fanning is great is her dual role as Thia and Tessa.

RIP Lee Tamahori, a great film maker whose masterpiece Once Were Warriors (1994) is extraordinary and must see. I’ll never forget watching it.

Teamed up with randoms a few times.
Last game today got gunned down by a raider at the extraction point.

I went to see the local comedy play Super Super about a local market’s struggle against the Mega Markt.

I missed the Distant Worlds 3 event, but I made it to The View in my new Mandalay starship and landed safely.
Sadly, purchased the stellar edition of the ship but found it was not engineered.
The new MetaElite companion app is quite amazing.
This is a great addition to Distant Worlds 3.

I missed the Distant Worlds 3 event, but I made it to The View in my new Mandalay starship and landed safely.

Ironically, the Roman Republic came to an end when Julius Caesar in 44 BC, and then Augustus in 27 BC, simply absorbed all state power becoming de facto kings (dictator/princeps) in all but name, unobstructed by a cowardly and sycophant Senate…well, you can see where I am going with this (5/5)
