Not all media is well known and some only exists in potentia. Gotham High was a proposed series that just got concept art. Young versions of Riddler and Penguin that can be defined by your imagination for #riddlebirdweek. What were they like before Batman? Maybe school outcasts who became friends.

A classic of our childhood, the Animated Series reworked Burton's vision of Penguin and the New Adventures took from Schumacher's version of Riddler. Both became something distinct and are a popular duo for #riddlebirdweek. Whether going straight or challenging the Batman this pair are well matched.

Vision isn't the only media so consider the Audio Adventures for #riddlebirdweek. Its clear the rogues interact in this version, especially if their henches are to be believed, and both are proactive in their plans. Penguin is manipulative and Riddler is egotistical. How could they work together?

It's a couple of years until The Batman sequel so lots of time to fill in the gaps for #riddlebirdweek. Riddler starred in the first film and Penguin got his series but as yet they've not crossed paths. How will the pair react to each other's philosophies? What sort of relationship could they build?

We didn't forget Bruce Timm's latest cartoon, Batman Caped Crusader. Our female Penguin won hearts and Oswalda would be a wonderful addition to #riddlebirdweek. There's scope here to imagine a Riddler so if you like f|f why not create an Edwarda? Or perhaps explore a f|m dynamic. It's a free choice.

Creativity knows no bounds so why not try an AU for #riddlebirdweek? There's the classic coffee shop trope and DnD has been popular lately. Reimagine the pair in another culture or cross over with your other favourite fandom. Official works have done the same so don't feel shy about experimenting.

Young and old love LEGO and we love this version of Penguin and Riddler. They click together, making a great duo in Family Matters, and you can team them up to run around Gotham taking selfies in DC Super Villains. Whether watching, playing the video game or irl, enjoy #riddlebirdweek with this pair

Fans were excited to hear the news of the sequel: Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League. Penguin was in the first film, as a feudal Lord in ancient Japan. Might Riddler be revealed in the next film and if so, as what? Something similar to the samurai statue perhaps. Why not make a guess for #riddlebirdweek

Before The Batman there was The Batman. This 2004 cartoon had a lot of familiar elements while trying something different. The first meeting wasn't love at first sight but how might the relationship have grown from there? We've seen them both fighting so why not show them loving for #riddlebirdweek?

We're over half way through the new Penguin series and have new lore to work with. Does that alter any ideas you had after The Batman? We know Edward is still active in Arkham so when will they cross paths again? Will it be as allies or antagonists? Something to hypothesis about for #riddlebirdweek
