Get on a bike. Put on a mask. Do a silly dance. Think Winnipeg thoughts.
There's so much room for everyone - it just needs to be allocated better

This picture is further proof that no one even drives in winter. Let's make it into 10 bike lanes!

This proposed location is in a damn grocery store parking lot, on a major bus route, and just down the street for a bunch of condos and other housing.

If it's cold enough for that jacket, scarf, and hat - he has definitely lost all feeling in his hands

Even during business hours, I haven't seen the CL lot close to full post 2020. And if CL was more flexible with letting employees work from home, there would easily be enough parking for everyone 24/7

It sounds like a really tricky situation. I wish there was an easy way for everyone to be safe and welcomed. If it was me, I might mask up and tell them you have a little tickle in your throat and the last thing they need is you getting them sick

I'm assuming offering to put them up in a hotel isn't an option?

I'm sure the driver was just looking for the true culprit

What does it for me is how it is the only piece of litter in the whole video. There's not even a Tim's cup in those gutters lol

I hope so. I am a little concerned that westbound drivers will feel tempted to hit the gas even more once they are past the protected part in winter as they get a super wide lane again and likely psychologically feel the need to make up for perceived lost time

Agree. I also don't love that west of Grosvenor, it is only paint and plastic posts that will be removed in winter (assuming any survive the summer months...) My hope is this happening will have a "foot in the door" effect and lead to better protections down the line
