Is that even up to the EU Parliament? Last I checked sovereign nations can lawfully defend their own airspace as they please.
It was never in EU's power to prevent any European nation from taking action. 🤔

So what changes with this resolution?

That's not the point? Having 1 interceptor is better than 0. 10 interceptors are better than 1. 100 interceptors are better than 10. And so on. At the end of the day air defense is a numbers games. Going "Well having some interceptors are better than none at all" is a fairly uncontested claim...

You got to start somewhere of course. But realistically to keep up with the active war you probably need to produce 10k a month rather than 10k a year. They're just building so so so many drones. 😣
