Fiona's community has (mostly) survived catastrophic bushfires and floods. Sixteen #RisingTide peaceful protesters have locked themselves onto coal loading equipment in Newcastle this morning. Civil disobedience is necessary when our governments fail to protect our climate ✊🏽💙

Jonathon Dykyj originated from Central Queensland and knows first hand the boom and bust impact on communities from their rover-reliance on coal and gas. He's now a local Newcastle parent and was one of the swimmers arrested at #RisingTide this afternoon. Thanks Jono!
