We’re wrapping up the development of markeR, an 📦 R package to quantify phenotypes from gene sets. Working with RNA-seq and trying to quantify things like senescence or inflammation? Give it a spin and share feedback!
Install & tutorials: github.com/DiseaseTrans...
📄 Paper coming soon... Stay tuned!
markeR provides a suite of methods for using gene sets to quantify and evaluate the extent to which a given gene signature marks a specific phenotype from gene expression data. The package implements various scoring and enrichment approaches, along with tools to compute performance metrics and visualize results.

Kudos to Daniel for the outstanding development of an approach to identify actigraphy-based markers of split shift work in submariners in a smooth interdisciplinary collaboration with Cátia Reis @gimmfoundation.bsky.social . ☀️🌒💪 Feedback is most welcome! 🙂
