TIL if you report expressions of self harm / suicide on Reddit, they ask you if Crisis Text Line should reach out to that person. I think that is great.
Quick search also seems to indicate that some people abuse this for harassment, which sucks. People can be horrible.

Which he has been trying to figure out for the last decade, while being a pillar of the Ruby community. The repeated publishing of emails and meeting notes, with wild interpretations, seem like attempted character assassination by @rubycentral.org and @searls.bsky.social. Hugely disappointing.

So far iOS 26 has mostly been annoying. Obvious settings seem to be missing or I’m unable to find them (like never translate German for me). Everything is over the top animated (feels like 2007 KDE) and looks shitty.

I'm so disappointed that Ruby Central gave in to pressure and pulled Jimmy Kimmel off the air.
