Good day to you. Easing myself through Cup #2. Fresh ground dark beans French pressed and sweetened with sugar and coffee cream. That first sip during a lazy Saturday morning, I live for it.

On its own, the USA doesn't stand a chance. United, with other states, it could win a war, but history has shown that the USA can't do anything on it's own.

Well! Went to top off my coffee. I added a little coffee concentrate, then kettle water. When I make coffee, I use fresh beans, French press them into very strong liquor, then dilute. Added the cream n sugar. Cream curdled instantly. Hmm! Wife reminded me she just put vinegar in to descale it. Ugh!

Next read is about the ongoing tragedy of young native women in fairly remote areas of Canada who go missing unexpectedly. Somebody knows something.

The rest of my day...play and play more

Next read: Michael Ondaatje's "Anil's Ghost". Every time I walk upstairs to find a book to read, my library of over 1000 books is up there, she reminds me to bring my library card. I tell her they're my books and I just promoted the librarian (me) to the coffee procurement and handling secretary.

Greetings, Laura. Got my book and joe going as usual, every Saturday and Sunday, early read, early slurps, and ugh, you had to mention so-called daylight savings. Ah well, I'm off for another 7 days, took holidays. I'll read lots and build. Building a cedar stripped baritone saxophone case.

Well, i got home after work only to hear my wife say there's a leek under the kitchen sink. I couldn't see any water droplets. Oddly, she burst out laughing and I'm thinking to myself, a leek under the sink is no laughing matter.
