I am surprised they aren't well over the amount needed. But now I'm worried they won't get there in time. Fingers are crossed hard.

But I think he was happy to entertain that group for his own ambitions, but they bite him in the ass and now he’s pissed off at them, so is calling them out. If he hadn’t of entertained them in the first place we wouldn’t be here right now.

On February 2nd I ceased shipping any of my work to the US. I just refused to have anything associated with me contributing the coffers of this corrupt administration. This latest move is a hostile attack directed at Canadian businesses.

I am glad I made that decision when I did.

I lived in the country for 30 years. We never had anyone door knock ever. I get that it’s tough. Distances, dogs, safety, etc. but find a way to reach people.

BTW: I was rural folk & those comments are rude, wrong & only further the division. Same for all the disparaging Alberta comments.

There was a line in a show we were watching that said “power is only gained by making people hate something”. It was in reference to rise of Nazis before WW2. But how profound is it for the times we’re living through. PP can’t get power thru good policy, so he tries to do it thru hate.

I think (as long as cons aren’t in power) a federally run program would see huge cost savings. No need for every province to have their own health authority management for 1.

True. I’m advocating for the federal government to take over healthcare period. The provinces are screwing it up and wasting too much money, while provincially appointed overseers are walking away with huge windfalls/salaries.

I’m ambiguous about it because I have other outlets. It was paintings that were sold more to US than Canada or elsewhere. But I still have income from illustration and photography through licensing. So I just paint less and do more illustration.

I hope you aren’t impacted as much by it.

I stopped shipping to US in February. The majority of my work sold there so it wasn’t without consequences, but no way is 1 penny of my work going to the convicted sex offender or his goons.

I wonder if we can pay to get a vaccine in another province? I may try phoning an out of province pharmacy to ask.
