Anemone (2025): A film that bores you in the first act, and leaves you hanging for more right when the film ends. The more I think about this movie, the more I wished it pushed towards the Lynchian style that you get glimpses of from time to time, but never fully get.

What Do We See When We Look Up At The Sky? (2021): A mouthful of a title that most definitely fits the films sense of grandiose and warmth. A Live-Action Ghibli film that can give a simple dog walking down a sidewalk an arc, and a storm drain life. Probably another modern classic for me.

Only Yesterday (1991): A film that perfectly portrays the idea of nostalgia (both good and bad). Slow and soothing, just like a cool, summer day.

Diary Of A Country Priest (1951): It wasn’t until after this movie that I found that I prefer his later films compared to his earlier films. Maybe it’s because he refines his style later in life, but this one was still interesting to watch for the religious banter alone.

Sibyl (2019): Such a huge gap in quality between this and Anatony Of A Fall. While it does go into psychological erotic thriller, it doesn’t really get interesting until the third act, which, by the time we get there, I got tired.

Four Nights Of A Dreamer (1971): Another Bresson Banger, that focuses on love and identity. Wonderful cinematography, and even better music (which, for Bresson, is crazy to even say).

Black Bag (2025): A slow burner with probably the most entertaining Third Act that got my heart pounding. Cate and Michael work well as a couple, and the supporting actors also pull their weight.
