Early Christmas gift

The Greek Myths that Inspired FINAL FANTASY VII by M.J. Gallagher @mjgallagher.bsky.social

As I research my own graphic novel, a fantasy within a more modern setting, having this as reference will be very useful!

Amazing Spider-Man #500 definitely feels like an anniversary issue. Time travel major moments in continuity hopping and all.

While I don't love the trope I did like how it reminded me how far Peter had come in his journey. And it had some touching moments in there too

Idk why but Uncle Ben being a paramedic just feels so wrong and I can't explain why

Started my playthrough of Atelier Ayesha and having a great time with it so far, aside from a crash that I hope doesn't repeat itself.

The characters are very cute and the systems are fun

I'm working on a comic that I'm calling Project Dacre atm

It is a gothic horror-fantasy about a psychologist chasing a mystery that shakes his optimistic convictions.

Here's some concepts of a couple characters

I watched one of the thanksgiving Brooklyn nine nine episodes last night completely independent of it being thanksgiving. I just wanted to watch the one where Holt and Adrian team up

Predator Badlands gets glowing reviews from me for Ellie Fanning's gorgeous Bob cut alone

I thought it was a fun movie that dove into the toxic masculine honour culture surrounding the Yautja. It explores the Predator themes in an interesting, if by the numbers, way. 3.5/5

Watched Jeepers Creepers (2001) today. Solid time but not much that grabbed me beyond Justin Long and Gina Phillips

Also found out about the director's behaviour after watching.... Oof

It's kinda crazy that Flash Thompson of all people is the one supporting character to be in every Spider-Man reboot, other than Aunt May, and none of them develop him past his base highschool character traits.

I'm forever gonna be sad that Guillermo Del Toro's Justice League Dark never ended up happening

Is it bad that I'm skipping Gwent in my Witcher 3 playthrough?

I feel I gave my soul to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's Queen's Blood

Started reading The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang

While it's a set up I've seen before I do really like the themes and how meritocracy is analyzed

As I'm getting back into The Witcher franchise I decided to get back to collecting the hardcovers. Picked up the second: The Sword of Destiny

I definitely want to do some rereads of the series particularly the short stories
