curious to hear what you’d change about your current model if you could. does most of the revenue come from the lower priced licences?

one of the reasons we chose paddle (besides being a merchant of record) is that you can basically send them pre-calculated prices on the fly and start a checkout process. With all these combinations its basically impossible to do this upfront. Guessing that’s your problem 😄

When building the checkout we easily went through ten more rounds of tweaking parameters and grouping people count into digestable bits. Not sure if we nailed it to be honest, but I feel like we at least gave it an honest try. Time will tell …

It took us most of the summer to figure out what we think is a fair licensing model for dreamtype.xyz. Truly a headache inducing topic …

Now live! And yes, we ended up using @sanity.io’s GROQ inside our @payload.dev backend 😬

Should’ve probably worded this differently, thanks for clarifying.

Still unfortunate that the funding does link both these incredible OSS projects to a rather questionable person.

any foundry website uses css variables nowadays, dinamo even built a testing tool that uses them: fontgauntlet.com

Would you be open to share some source code? Would love to implement something similar for Vue Equipment’s MagicCommand.

Hi Johannes, not sure if its me, but seems like I can‘t DM you on here. Any other way to reach out?

how about hovering a <button>?

Though I agree, browser behavior should largely be untouched. Worst idea is replacing the cursor entirely.

Unlike with crypto, with AI the technology itself could at least be beneficial to society. There are definitely use cases where LLMs could speed up processes tremendously. Think in the medical field for example. Sadly this is being overshadowed by AI chat bots on every website and inside every app.

I’d argue that those are merely symptoms of the underlying problem. They’ll appear in one form or another with any new, exciting and thus fast growing technology. The same was true for crypto, social media, online dating, etc. Capitalism in its current form will always incentivise towards this.

Seems like you don’t hate AI, you hate turbo-capitalism.

There is no way to do this inside a Nuxt module, correct? I remember we tried, but couldn’t make it work. Ended up with the nested module solution after talking to you back then.
